About Me
I am a PhD-trained researcher in medical ethics and a visual communicator working at the intersection of ethics, health innovation, and arts-informed research. As an Associate Researcher at the Center for Applied Philosophy, Babeș-Bolyai University, I work on ethical issues related to vaccination, targeted drug delivery, and microbiome-related clinical practice. I have also worked as an Ethics Consultant and Researcher with Discovery Foundation, contributing to ethics-sensitive work on targeted drug delivery, medical refusal, and responsible healthcare innovation.
Alongside my academic work, I provide research communication, visual design, consultancy, and coaching support for academic, educational, NGO, and public-interest projects. My background in philosophy, medical ethics, and fine arts allows me to translate complex ideas into clear presentations, infographics, posters, and training materials. I am also developing a RECOVER-aligned research direction on One Health preparedness, digital monitoring, and participatory governance in human–brown bear coexistence, with a focus on affect, ethical governance, and human–nature relations.
In parallel, I am currently developing a postdoctoral project on clinical-ethics consultation for contested medical innovations, focusing on AI/ML-assisted diagnostics, wireless-guided nanocarriers, refusal, trust, and arts-informed ethical dialogue. I am interested in interdisciplinary collaborations and host-institution opportunities in this area. My research interests include empirical medical ethics, medical refusal, nanomedicine, and the development of ethics consulting and decision-support instruments in healthcare. I work primarily with mixed methods and phenomenological approaches, and I also use arts-based and arts-informed methods where visual, narrative, or creative approaches can strengthen reflection, participation, and public engagement.
